My name is Steve Graber and I am running for Seat 1 on the Oldsmar City Council.

As soon as my wife Kelly and I made the decision to raise our two children in Oldsmar, I made it a priority to serve the community.

Oldsmar is ready for the next phase of  growth and I am honored to have the opportunity to be a voice for the citizens as we move into the future.

I grew up in a family dedicated to public service. My father served on the council of our hometown and, as the youngest of 5 children, the importance of public service was instilled in me at an early age. My wife Kelly and I love Oldsmar and are proud to raise our two children here. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and my juris doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law.

I believe that re-developing downtown Oldsmar is vital to the future of the City. With an active and vibrant downtown, we can attract new businesses, create jobs, and provide the residents of Oldsmar with a central place to gather and celebrate.

Oldsmar has been transitioning to expanded golf cart usage for years; however, there is currently no  way to cross Tampa Road in a golf cart. Additionally, pedestrians and cyclists must be extremely cautious while crossing Tampa Road. If elected, examining options to create a safe means of travel over Tampa Road will be a priority.

Oldsmar provides a wide range of recreational options for its residents and there is a constant effort to create even more. If elected, I will make it a priority to enhance our current facilities while working to create new and exciting recreation opportunities.

Oldsmar is home to a large, active population of Veterans and I have had the privilege to work with multiple Veterans through my participation on volunteer advisory boards. The City has made it a priority to honor those who have served and it is my goal to continue these efforts.

In Oldsmar, we have an active cultural arts community, but we don't have a dedicated center to host events. My efforts will be focused on exploring every option available to make a center for the arts a reality.
